Education & Training

Our Education and Training programme is aimed at developing the skills and knowledge to create high quality architecture and urban design.

A main part of the programme involves working with councils, regeneration agencies,architects, the education sector, developers, and other professionals to enhance design knowledge and capacity in the city region. Urban Vision will be working with nationally renowned consultants Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design to create a joint Design Guidance Planning Document for Stoke on Trent City Council and Newcastle Borough Council

We have just completed Phase Two of a programme of engagement with schools drawn from across North Staffordshire. How Places Work is a programme of visits which aims to help young people understand, with the help of an Inspirer, how buildings and spaces are created, get excited about the built environment that surrounds them and demand more from it as a result.
