Major projects

Urban Vision aims to help inspire the people of North Staffordshire to demand high-quality architecture and urban design, and to support and enable our local regeneration agencies to deliver it. Our demonstration projects will show how high quality development will add value in the long term and enhance the lives of local people.

We are currently working on two major projects:

Urban Design Futures for North Staffordshire - a long term, four-part project that recognises the best of our past and blends it with the plans for regeneration and renewal to create a better designed city region for the future. For further details click here.

Green Housing Demonstration Project - a two-part project to use an architectural competition to demonstrate new ways of creating sustainable urban communities through two ecologically designed model housing developments, one involving new build and the other refurbishment of existing traditional dwellings.
