About SHOP
SHOP in Stoke Town Centre uses an empty shop as an art space for artists, creatives, residents and visitors to meet, create, discuss and enjoy. SHOP is working with a mix of the most interesting and exciting local, regional, national artists and producers to bring a truly eclectic mix of artistic activity.
For SHOP, it is extremely important that activities involve live action and that the location and community are considered in the work. We are encouraging people to consider Stoke Town as the site for the work and Kate Lynch, Artist in Residence will be in place from Saturday 31st July to Saturday 14th August.
Wednesday 4th August - Creative Workshop - Come down to shop to create and exhibit your own green man using locally sourced art materials - suitable for all ages.
SHOP is funded by Arts Council England & North Staffs Regeneration Partnership and supported by Blurb, Fierce, Urban Vision North Staffs, Staffordshire University
