Design Reviewed North Staffordshire - August 2006

Urban Vision's Design Review Panel has been running since October 2004 and an evaluation report has been prepared to assess its effectiveness.

A special meeting was convened on 4 July 2006 between Stakeholders and Panel members to discuss key issues and comment on an initial draft of the report. The final report, which includes an Improvement Plan, can be downloaded here.

 

Health Check: A Review of the Work of Urban Vision - January 2006

The Board of Urban Vision commissioned an independent "health check" to review its effectiveness a year after becoming operational. Barry Shaw, chief executive of Kent Architecture Centre, visited Urban Vision in December 2005 and spoke to staff, directors, funders, clients and members of the design review panel.

A report was produced in January 2006 and its recommendations have been discussed with key partners and stakeholders. The executive summary and principal recommendations of the health check, together with the Board's response, can be downloaded here.
